Fundraise with Facebook

1. Login to your Heart Walk My HQ             

2. Click on the Start Fundraising with Facebook today hyperlink on your 'My HQ' page             

3. Login to your Facebook page                                                                  

 
4. Click Add to Profile

 
5. Click Add

 
7. Click Keep

Update your Status

Update your status to let everyone know that you are raising money for the American Heart Association and Start! Heart Walk. Ask them to go to your profile and click Donate on your thermometer. They will be taken to your personal Heart Walk webpage, where they can donate securely online.

Creating a Message to your Facebook Friends

  1. Login to Facebook
  2. Go to your Profile
  3. Click on the Donate button on your thermometer
  4. Copy the URL of your HW webpage
  5. Go back to facebook and click on Inbox > Compose New Message
  6. Type in the words Click here to donate and then Paste the URL into your inbox message
  7. A pre-loaded message will appear.   You can choose the picture you would like to be displayed. If you update your profile with your own picture, it will appear as one of the choices.
  8. Personalize your message further if you would like.
  9. Click Send and watch your thermometer rise!
