By adding the Boundless FundraisingTM application to your Facebook page, you can easily extend your fundraising efforts to your networks of friends on Facebook.  

 

 

 

How to add Boundless FundraisingTM application to Facebook:

1. Login to your Heart Walk HQ             

2. Click on the fundraise with facebook button on your 'My HQ' page             

3. Login to your Facebook page                                                                  

4. Click allow access
5. Click allow offline access - this will allow the thermometer to stay up to date
6. Click add to profile (little button under thermometer) and click add again

 

7. Click keep

Your first newsfeed will post!  
 
 

  

How to increase your fundraising through Facebook

You can engage your Facebook friends by adding photos or videos, posting regular updates and challenging your friends to join you.

  1. Add the Heart Walk application to your Facebook page.
  2. Show your commitment and make a contribution through your Facebook application.
  3. Update your Facebook status to let your friends know you are participating and raising funds.

Examples:

    • Jane is fundraising for the Start! Heart Walk! Check out my page and click on the thermometer on the left side to learn more!
    • Jane made a $[amount] donation to the Start! Heart Walk! Join me and match my donation!
    • Jane is supporting the Start! Heart Walk and challenging all my friends to support me or join me in my efforts!
    • Jane has raised $[amount] for the Start! Heart Walk! Help me reach my goal!
    • Jane is ready for the Start! Heart Walk - only [days] days until the event!
  1. Update your Facebook photo to the Start! Heart Walk logo. Download the Start! logo
  2. Invite your Facebook friends to join your Heart Walk team.  Send them an email through Facebook or via your Heart Walk webpage.
  3. Challenge your Facebook friends:
    • To start their own team and compete with you.
    • To be the first to donate to you.  (Give them a little incentive. Such as: the first person to donate to me gets a picture of what's in my top desk drawer J )
    • To join your team and match what you raise
