The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) is the country’s largest grassroots organization serving persons with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers. APDA funds research at its nine centers for advanced research and through grants and fellowships to individual scientists.
The Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center is the country’s only independent non-profit organization that brings together comprehensive care, basic research, and clinical research for Parkinson’s disease. The Institute empowers people living with Parkinson’s and their loved ones to better manage their disease, improve their quality of life, and impact groundbreaking research that will change the landscape of Parkinson’s science and medicine.
