The Best Buddies 5K, also known as BB5K, is a competitive run/walk in the beautiful Franklin neighborhood of McKay's Mill. A family-friendly event, BB5K features inflatables, face painting, kids activities, post-race refreshments and great door prizes. All proceeds benefit Best Buddies Tennessee, a non-profit organization that creates socialization and leadership opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
As participants of BB5K, runners and walkers can collect donations and become part of the Best Buddies global volunteer movement to end social isolation for people with IDD. All funds raised will go to Best Buddies' Middle School, High School and College programs in the Nashville area. The Top Fundraising Team and the Top Fundraising Individual will win great prizes!
Together, we can bring friendship to every person with an intellectual disability that needs a Buddy.
