The Hoop-A-Paluza Foundation is a nonprofit founded in 2002 to help children.
Our mission is to engage the community, and especially kids, in the act of helping other children. We support local charities which strive to improve the physical and mental well-being of children in NJ.
Proceeds from this event benefit children’s charities in the New Jersey/New York area. To date we've raised over $2.2 million to aid a diverse group of children’s charities including Children’s Aid and Family Services, YCS, Tomorrow’s Children’s Fund, and others. How it works — Participants enroll friends and family to sponsor them either with a flat donation or with a per basket challenge. Children who want to participate are asked to pledge to raise at least $100; adults, $500. Participants then come to the event, shoot hoops and enjoy a great day of family fun – it’s that simple.
