Every dollar raised will help sustain and grow our friendship programs for people with intellectual disabilities.

How the Friendship Walk works: Simply register on this website and start your fundraising today! There is no registration fee, but pledges are required to participate. Raise $50 to get a t-shirt. Keep going and earn other great prizes!! Once registered we will provide you with an easy to use customizable fundraising webpage to collect your donations as well as templates for donation request e-mails. This webpage is free and easy, so get started today!

Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment. Founded in 1989 by Anthony K. Shriver, Best Buddies is a vibrant, international organization that has grown from one original chapter to more than 1,300 middle school, high school, and college campuses across the country and internationally. Our programs today reach all 50 of the United States, and have active international programs in 40 countries.

People with intellectual disabilities are often excluded from society because of their differences. Best Buddies is determined to end social isolation for people with intellectual disabilities by establishing meaningful, lasting relationships with their non-disabled peers. These friendships help to increase self-esteem, confidence and the abilities of all involved. For more information about Best Buddies across the country and internationally, visit www.bestbuddies.org.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities!

*We reserve the right to delay, reschedule, or cancel the walk due to extreme or severe weather conditions. (NO REFUNDS)
