While the registration for the Baltimore Running Festival through Best Buddies is closed, interested individuals who sign up for the Baltimore Running Festival on their own may use this website to fundraise for Best Buddies. Those who choose this option will receive all of the same benefits as a Best Buddies Maryland Running Festival participant, but will have to pay their own registration fee. Best Buddies is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment. In Maryland our program exists in 80 middle schools, high schools, and colleges as well as in the adult community. Everyday we are looking to expand and bring awareness to the social isolation a person with an intellectual disability encounters.
