Register as one of many event hosts and coordinate a miniature fundraising event on the day of your choice for your friends, family and/or coworkers to celebrate Weekends For Wishes!
Who: Friends (a.k.a you!) of the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation®.
What: Weekends For Wishes is a year round effort to support the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation through a variety of miniature fundraising and awareness events of your choice to benefit Make-A-Wish, with a special focus four times a year - winter, spring, summer and fall. Events can be small or large, private or public, day or night-time events that bring together your friends, family, coworkers or other contacts to support your efforts. Weekends for Wishes also can include individual events (marathons, triathlons, etc) to support Make-A-Wish. Be creative and have fun!
Where: A location of your choice within the Greater Bay Area. Events can occur in your home, your workplace, your gym, a local restaurant...it's up to you!
When: Year Round
Why: Help be a part of an amazing collaborative effort to raise funds, increase awareness and gain support for the Make-A-Wish Foundation! All funds raised will help support the Foundation's mission of granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
How: Register today to host a fundraising initiative. Click on the "Register Here" button on the top of this page to get started! Fill out the form with your contact information and proposed event ideas (date, time, type of event, etc). Once you have registered, you will receive a personal user-friendly webpage to share with friends and collect online donations. All events are subject to approval by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
