“There’s No Place Like Home” for an abandoned shelter orphan.
The Monmouth County SPCA, along with Corporate Partner Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, is leashing up for our 16th Annual Dog Walk & Pet Fair. Thanks to generous community support, last year’s Walk attracted over 3,000 participants, close to a thousand dogs, and helped us raise over $125,000 for the Monmouth County SPCA’s shelter orphans!
Music and entertainment will be provided by The Wag, complimented by plenty of vendors and exhibitors, food, demonstrations, contests, activities for kids, photo opportunities and MUCH MORE! Former street dog turned stage star Toto from the musical The Wiz will serve as this year’s honorary “Chairdog”, accompanied by award winning theatrical animal trainer Bill Berloni. Another Berloni rescue, Sandy from the Broadway musical Annie, will also be attending as our special guest.
The Dog Walk and Pet Fair is the Monmouth County SPCA’s largest fundraiser of the year, and all proceeds allow us to care for thousands of abused, abandoned and homeless animals throughout Monmouth County. So grab your pooch and help us reach our goal of $120,000! We look forward to seeing you there!
