Join Best Buddies supporters from across the DFW Mextroplex to help raise awareness and funds for Best Buddies Texas high school and college programs. The Festival of Friendship will include a 1-mile walk around the University of Dallas campus followed by live entertainment, food, activity booths, and awards. The award presentation will include the 2008-2009 chapter awards as well as prizes for the top individual and team fundraisers! Every dollar raised will help sustain and grow our friendship programs for people with intellectual disabilities.

Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment. Founded in 1989 by Anthony K. Shriver, Best Buddies is a vibrant, international organization that has grown from one original chapter to more than 1,300 middle school, high school, and college campuses across the country and internationally. Our programs today reach all 50 of the United States, and have active international programs in 40 countries.
