The 2017 Maryland Law Enforcement Torch Run

May 31 - June 9

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is hosted by Maryland Law Enforcement to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Maryland. The events will primarily take place between May 31 and June 9 2017. Some events will take place on alternative dates so please click on the team page you are interested in to get exact details.

For a $15 registration fee, you get the opportunity to run side by side with your fellow law enforcement personnel for a leg of the 2017 Law Enforcement Torch Run. Included is a ultra-soft LETR Runner's Shirt.

This run is also a fundraiser and opportunity to raise money toward your agency’s annual goal. We encourage everyone to set a minimum goal of $100 which is the amount it costs for a Special Olympics athlete to participate in one season of sports training.

Not interested in running but still want to support Special Olympics athletes? You can! We still encourage you to register, get the shirt and go the "extra mile" by raising additional funds.

The mission of the Law Enforcement Torch Run®, (LETR) in partnership with our communities, is to support Special Olympics Maryland through fundraising and public awareness while enhancing the quality of life of our athletes.

It is a year-round fundraising campaign that culminates every year at the Special Olympics Maryland Summer Games in June.

We encourage everyone to set a minimum goal of $100 which is the approximate cost for a Special Olympics Athlete to participate in one season of sports training. Your $15 registration will earn you an Ultra Soft Cotton Tee Shirt . All funds raised will count towards your agency total.
