ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Harrisburg
Friday, September 25, 2015
One in seven American men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime. That's one in seven fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, partners, and friends. No one wants the men in their lives to be faced with this disease. You can be part of saving lives and keeping families together. Take the challenge and join the movement to end prostate cancer by joining Urology of Central Pennsylvania at the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Harrisburg on Friday, September 25, 2015 at City Island in Harrisburg. Nashville recording artist and former American Idol contestant Jimmy Charles will perform his hit Superman, the ZERO Cancer anthem dedicated to prostate cancer patients and survivors. Your participation and fundraising helps fund tomorrow’s treatments, today. Sign up now and help declare one number above others: ZERO.
Where the Money Goes
Ending prostate cancer takes investments on all fronts. ZERO is committed to advancing research through advocacy and direct contributions to research while offering financial assistance to patients, early detection, and education programs. All dollars raised are split 50/50 between our local community and national efforts to save lives by funding research, testing at-risk men, and providing educational resources for men and families.
Your Registration and Help
- Your registration fee could support online resources for patients and their families.
- A $60 donation could educate up to 10 men and their families about prostate cancer.
- Getting friends and family to contribute a total of $110 could provide a free test to a man at risk.
- Raising $260 could enable an advocate to spend a day on Capitol Hill to help raise awareness and support for research funds.
