First Annual Pink Lemonade Party
|Grab your girlfriends and join us in downtown Bremerton the evening of August 1, 2014 for our first annual Pink Lemonade Party at Purpose Boutique. With a nod to National Girlfriends Day, our “Pink Lemonade Party” will provide the perfect excuse to enjoy your girlfriends while raising money for potentially life-saving cancer screening for women in need in our community. A portion of the evening sales will benefit the Women’s Health Screening Fund at Harrison Medical Center Foundation. You will be helping to provide timely access for local women to receive a routine screening exam and, if needed, further diagnostic testing. Every $100 contributed provides one more woman in our community with potentially life-saving care—or even better peace of mind. |
Can’t make it? Here are two more ways you can help:
Make a Gift Today. Give the Gift of Early Detection. According to Kitsap Public Health, an estimated 28 percent of women in Kitsap County are underinsured and unable to cover the cost of needed healthcare, including 15 percent of women who report skipping age-recommended screenings, such as mammograms and pap smears. You can help put the gift of early detection—or peace of mind—in the hands of those who need it.
Host your own Pink Lemonade Party. Host a gathering of your favorite gal pals on or around August 1. Get together, dine, and savor the joys of friendship. Invite everyone to make a gift, considering the amount they might have spent had the occasion occurred at a favorite local venue. Send us a photo that we can share online (or post to our wall on Facebook at Harrison Medical Center Foundation). To receive special Pink Lemonade Party Invitations call the Foundation, 360-744-6976.
