|We have some exciting news for 2014! This year, we have decided to combine the Central New York and Rochester walks. We are thrilled to bring not only these two communities together but any other family in the outlying areas to join one Walk Now for Autism Speaks event. |
This year, we will hold the Walk on Saturday, October 11th in Rochester, NY at Monroe Community College. In order to encompass a greater geographic area and let the walk develop its own identity, we have decided to name the walk The Rochester/ Finger Lakes Walk Now for Autism Speaks.
We encourage you to sign up for the Rochester/ Finger Lakes walk this year; we are confident that it will be an amazing experience for you and your family. With the walkers joining together, the day will become a more meaningful representation of our community and allow all of us to form new relationships.
Please know that while our walk location is changing, the other work, support and promotion will not change. We will continue to encourage individuals and organizations to apply for grants and we will continue to support families with resources as we have in the past.
Join Autism Speaks as we walk to change the future for all who struggle with autism!
