Summer Bowl for Kids' Sake is a fun and easy way to help Big Brothers Big Sisters. Participants join a team with friends and co-workers to help raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters. They ask friends and family for donations to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters and then chose one night for a fun bowling party with pizza, beer, soda and incredible prizes with their team mates.
Unlike many charity fundraisers, there is no training needed to participate in Summer Bowl for Kids' Sake. In fact, anytime you are drinking a beer or soda or eating pizza you are in fact "training" for Summer Bowl. You don't have to be a good bowler the score doesn't even matter. It's all about having fun and helping kids in Kansas City. We hope you and your friends will join us for this year's Summer Bowl for Kids' Sake.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters program works! Kids who have a mentor in the program are more likely to graduate high school and college, less likely to do drugs and alcohol and have improved outlooks on life.
