Autism Speaks 12th Annual 5K Run-1 Mile Walk
Wednesday, July 4, 2012 * Potomac, Maryland

• The Centers for Disease Control report that 1 in 88 children (1 in 54 boys) are on the autism spectrum. With numbers like these, autism is EVERYONE'S cause.

• For the past ten years, the generous support of our sponsors, donors and participants made this event tremendously successful, contributing over $2.5 million to Autism Speaks. This event attracts both competitive runners and families with children of all ages, and is a wonderful start to Independence Day.

• With 1 in 88 children affected by autism, we need answers and we need them now.

Can't be with us on the 4th of July? Don't worry you can still compete and participate from wherever you may be! Register via the website and we will mail you your performance shirt in advance to join us virtually on July 4th.

You can run and raise money for autism anywhere.

After your run, don't forget to post a photo including the location and your virtual 5K results on our
Facebook page!
