On July 11, 2009, the James River Association (JRA) will host the second annual Runoff Rundown -- a one-day event celebrating America's Founding River.

The goal is for individuals to collectively traverse the entire 340 miles of the River, from the headwaters at Iron Gate to the mouth at the Chesapeake Bay. Through our combined efforts, participants and supporters will celebrate the heritage of the James River, increase awareness of the JRA, support efforts to improve water quality and use the River for recreational enjoyment. 1. Research the River Map to select your river section and design your Rundown.

2. Complete the form to register your Rundown and solicit sponsors for your efforts.

3. Join the many who will be celebrating the James River on July 11!
