Grand Cyclists also receive VIP parking, complimentary post-ride massage, entrance into exclusive door prize drawings, a reserved port-a-john, a FREE Ride For The Rescue jersey (a $75 value), free event day photograph, AND an invitation to post-ride awards banquet at Outback Steakhouse.

Pre-Ride Pledge Drop Off and Packet Pick-up:
Wednesday, July 15, 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
Save time on ride day and come to the Pre-Ride Pledge Drop Off and Packet Pick-up at the Rescue Mission on Wednesday, July 15. From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Rescue Mission staff and volunteers will be available to collect pledges, hand out day materials (rider number, meal ticket, goody bag, event t-shirt etc.), register new participants, answer questions and more. Team captains, bring your whole team down and we’ll take your team photo too.* If you qualify at any of our incentive levels you may also pick-up your thank you gifts at this time. Additional Ride for the Rescue and Rescue Mission merchandise will be available for purchase. Light refreshments will be served.
Remember, Wednesday July 15 is one of the last days to register at the discounted rate of $15. Registration fee goes up to $25 on the 17th. Bring all your friends, family and co-workers with you to the Pre-Ride Pledge Drop Off and Packet Pick-up to sign up and save!

Last year's Ride for the Rescue attracted more than 300 riders, 20 virtual riders, and hundreds of volunteers and friends who helped us raise more than $130,000 to fight homelessness in our community!
While we consider that a huge success, we look forward to Ride for the Rescue 2009 making an even bigger impact in our community. Ride for the Rescue is our single largest fundraising effort and we can't do it without the support of the entire community.

To make this happen we need to think of Ride for the Rescue as a year-round fundraising effort that ends with a giant bicycling celebration — a fundraising effort that changes lives in a big way. Your support of Ride for the Rescue helps provide meals for the hungry, beds for the homeless, clothes for the poor and hope for those who need our help the most.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
RIDE Ride for the Rescue offers routes for bicyclists of all ages and skills. Take part in the 2-mile Family Fun Ride or challenge yourself to the 62-mile Metric Century Ride. OR choose one of the lengths in between — 10 miles, 20 miles or 40 miles.
BECOME A VIRTUAL RIDER Even if you can't ride, you can still be a part of this great cycling event. As a virtual rider, you will participate just like our actual riders except you won't get on a bike!
