Bob Gibbs was diagnosed in May 2004 with a grade II Oligodendroglioma. Since Bob's diagnosis he has had two brain surgeries. In July 2011 Bob was diagnosed with a grade III Anaplastic Oligoastrocytoma. He began radiation treatments and due to difficulties had to stop radiation.
