Teams - Frequently Asked Questions

For general information, please go to the Event Information Page.

For team-specific questions contact Marina Gudelman, run for her® Team Coordinator at (323) 866-6250 or Marina.Gudelman@cshs.org

  1. Do team members have to register just like individual participants?

Yes. Each team member must register individually for the event and when prompted will be able to join your team by selecting your team name when registering online or by including your team information where indicated when completing a registration form.

  2. Should team members use their personal or business address when registering?

All important information about run for her® will be mailed to the address provided, including pledge prizes, if eligible. Instruct team members to print their preferred address clearly on the registration form to prevent returns.

  3. Can participants register on the day of the event and still join the team?

Yes. On-site registrations will be available from 7 to 9 a.m. on the morning of the event. Remind your team members to include your team name, to ensure that they are included on your final team roster following the event. However, any donations received will not be included in Top Team Fundraising Awards presented on the day of the event.

  4. Can team captains or a team member pick up registration packets and participant shirts for the whole team at packet pick up?

We ask that all participants pick up their own materials. If you need to make special arrangements, please contact Marina Gudelman at (323) 866-6250 or Marina.Gudelman@cshs.org.

  5. How will I know who has registered on our team?

Your online "My Team Page" always has the most current team roster. By activating your Team Page, you can see the same registration information that run for her® staff sees.

Any discrepancies in your team roster should be brought to the attention of the Team Coordinator.

If you do not have internet access or have questions about your team roster, contact the run for her® Team Coordinator, Marina Gudelman at (323) 866-6250 or Marina.Gudelman@cshs.org.

Spend more time with your teammates on event morning! Register early!

    For directions, click here: http://www.mapquest.com

  6. What constitutes a team?

A team is a group of co-workers, neighbors, friends, family, or fellow students who can raise money together to compete for team prizes and run/walk together on the day of run for her®. A team can range anywhere from 2 to more than 200 members.

  7. If someone registered as an individual, can they still join a team?

Yes, participants that have already registered can still join a team. The team captain or participant can contact Marina Gudelman at (323) 866-6250 or Marina.Gudelman@cshs.org with the participant's name, address, phone number and email address (if available) and team name; she will add the participant to the team roster.

  8. If I registered myself as a team captain and plan on running, do my team members also have to register as runners?

Each member of your team can choose how they would like to participate. They can register as a runner, walker or Sleepwalker.

  9. How can I honor a loved one at the event?

By creating a team in honor or memory of someone, you have taken the first and biggest step. Here are some other ways:

    1. You can wear an "In Honor Of" bib. Come by Nanci's Awareness Tent to fill one out.
    2. Sign the run for her® tribute book at Nanci's Awareness Tent
    3. Send your personal story to runforher@cshs.org
    4. Post a photo on the run for her® facebook page
    5. Decorate your team sign with a photo of the person you are honoring
