  2. When and where do I pick up my event packet and t-shirt? Go Top

    1. Packet Pick Up:
      Beat the crowd on event day, and get your event day packet at Packet Pick up! Registration will also be available at Packet Pick-Up.

      2013 Packet Pick Up locations to be announced.

    2. Event Morning:

      You may pick up your packet from 7-9 a.m on event morning.

  3. If I plan to bring my children to walk the course, do they also need to register? Go Top

    Yes, all participants must be registered for the race. Remember, all proceeds benefit the Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Program at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute.

  5. What is the distance of the course? Go Top

    The distance is a 5K run/walk (approx 3.1 miles).

  6. What are the age divisions for the awards? Go Top

    Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers, male and female, in each of the following age divisions:

    0-15 35-39 60-64
    16-19 40-44 65-69
    20-24 45-49 70-74
    25-29 50-54 75-79
    30-34 55-59 80+


  7. What is chip timing? Go Top

    Every registered participant in the 5k Run (chip timed) will be given a timing chip to place on their shoe before the start of the race. The chips will be distributed in the Registration Area. This allows for accurate timing as your race time does not start or end until you cross the timing mats. Please return the chip at the end of the race or there will be a fee for unreturned chips.

  8. When and where can I see my race results? Go Top

    Race results will be available at the park after the race and will be posted Monday morning or afternoon on the website.

  9. Where do I park on race day? Go Top

    Check back soon for updates.

  10. Will there be food/drinks available on the course? At the finish line? Go Top

    We will have refreshments free to registered participants. There will be water stations at the Start/Finish line and at the finish line festival, there will be additional refreshments available.

  11. Are skates, bikes, or pets allowed on the course? Go Top

    In the interest of safety none of these items, with the exception of service dogs, will be allowed on the course or in the finish line festival area.

  12. Are strollers allowed on the course? Go Top

    Yes, we just ask that participants with strollers start behind the other participants.

  13. How do I donate to the Women's Cancer Program? Go Top

    All registered teams are invited to visit the Team Lounge in the expo area on event day. It's a great place to meet, share personal stories with other teams, take a team photo or just hang out.

  18. How do I become a fundraiser? Go Top

    Take your run for her® participation to the next level and become a fundraiser! Donations of every amount support ovarian cancer research and awareness for the Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Program at The Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. Fundraising online has never been easier! Simply register online and your personal fundraising web page is automatically created for you. Once registered, log in to your Headquarters to set your fundraising goal, upload photos and a personal message about your connection to the cause, send emails asking friends and family to support you, and track your progress! If you and your donors are not comfortable fundraising/donating online, use the Pledge Form to collect offline (cash/check) donations.

    While raising pledges are not a requirement to participate, all donations and pledges are encouraged.
