Portland to the Beach : 100 miles
Start time: 7:00-8:00am.
Starting location: Scholls Heights Elementary, 16400 SW Loon, Beaverton, OR 97008.
** There is limited parking. We suggest carpooling. Illegally parked cars will be ticketed or towed. Please respect the neighbors who have welcomed us into their community and park with caution.

Description: A perfect century ride for more accomplished riders. The first 50 miles cover scenic farmland and feature some short hills, plus one big climb early on out of the gate. The second 50 miles (from Amity) will take you beside streams, stately trees and vineyards, with some lovely hills and curves. Overall this route is surprisingly flat and absolutely gorgeous.

- Salem to the Beach: 80 miles
Start time: 7:00-8:00am.
Starting location: Wallace Marine Park, 200 Glen Creek Rd. NW

Description: Beginning with the scenic patchwork wine region, the course skirts around Eola Hills, providing a beautiful ride past orchards and rolling farmland. Continue through forests and past streams to the crashing waves of the Pacific coast.

Amity to the Beach: 55 miles
Start time: 9:00-10:00am.
Starting location: Amity High School, 503 Oak Street, Amity, OR 97101, between Rosedell and Birch Hill.

Description: A great 'first ride of the season'. The route features a scenic mix of farmland, vineyards, moderate hills and a winding stretch along the Little Nestucca River.

Grand Ronde to the Beach: 26 mile Road Course
Start time: 10:00-11:00am.
Starting location: NEW FOR 2009
9600 SE Hebo Road (Hwy. 22), at the entrance to Fort Yamhill State Park.
This location is about 1 mile east of Grand Ronde Road on the north side of Hebo Road/Hwy. 22. This is the site of the new Pow-wow grounds. You will see Reach the Beach signs at the entrance.

Description: The road course joins other bicyclists on their way to the beach with moderate hills and a shady ride along the Little Nestucca River.

Pacific City
Please note: for the safety of the cyclists, please do not drive on the same roads that they are riding. The driving route directions from each start (links above) will help guide you there on alternate routes that don't take much longer.
The finish line is at the Pelican Pub on the beach of Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City.

Drivers, please especially avoid Highway 22 and Nestucca River Road - cyclists will be using these roads. This part of the course is very narrow and we want to reduce the car traffic as much as possible for this scenic duration of the ride.
