Why Your Participation Matters
Run for Her® teams come in all sizes, from two participants (the minimum) to over 100. The support of your team makes fundraising easier and multiplies your impact on the fight against ovarian cancer.
This year, because Run for Her is going global and virtual, you can recruit anyone from around the world to be part of your team! Your aunt in Buffalo, your nephew in Orlando, your sister studying in England – there is no geographic limit to who you can recruit!
Being a Team Captain is easier than you think! The Team Captain plays a key role in team building, fundraising, motivating and creating a fun and memorable experience for your team.
Here are some fun and easy tips on how to help build your team and gain more support for the cause:
Donations and pledges are key to furthering the fight against women’s cancers. Though it is not required, we request that teams set a minimum goal of $150 per member.
Start a Team
After you register, a team fundraising page with a unique website address will be automatically created and you can begin collecting donations online. You can access your team page via your unique website address, or click “Log In to My HQ” from any page on the Run for Her website. In order to be included in your team roster, each member must register online. and list your official team name. The names of your team members will be posted online to the team roster as soon as their registration form is processed.
Join a Team
After you register, a personal Web page with a unique website address will be automatically created, and you can begin collecting donations online. This is separate from your team’s joint fundraising page.
