Children are counting on you to support our relief efforts. Save the Children is working around the clock to provide children with what they need to survive and thrive. And we can’t do it without you. That’s why we’ve made it easy to help in ways that are fund and meaningful for you and your friends.

Athletes for Action

In January, gyms are packed, but by Valentine’s Day they’re practically ghost towns. Keep your motivation up by training for run, walk or other sporting event to raise funds for child refugees. It’s a lot easier to stay on the treadmill when you think of the little ones who are counting on you.

Bake Sale

This tried and true fundraiser brightens your community’s day by selling homemade delights during lunchtime, after school, or on the weekend. Consider a new twist by making delicious sweets from the affected country.

Campus Charity

Get your college into the giving spirit! Host trivia night at a local bar or restaurant with an entry fee for participants; host Karaoke Night, and charge$5 a song; offer to be the designated driver for the evening, collect a fee from your passengers — donate what you’ve collected to Save the Children; air out your camping gear, and see how you can put it to good use.

Dress-down Day

At your school or in the office, encourage everyone to bring in $5 to wear jeans for the day – or something crazier! Get creative! Check with your school administrator or supervisor to make sure it’s OK first.

Fit Club

There are few things more hazardous to your healthy eating habits than the afternoon snack attack at the vending machine. Instead of using those coins to get candy, put them in a jar earmarked for a donation to Save the Children. You’ll be surprised at how quickly it adds up!

Pennies for Peace

These little coins can add up to a lot! Ask the entire school or organization to bring in change for a week or longer. Create a competition and give a prize to the team that raises the most amount of money.

Youth Groups

Bake sales, quiz nights and sports tournaments — using your club’s pool table or Ping Pong table, with players paying to enter — are all good fundraisers.
