While we are excited to show off TeamWalk's new home on the Web, we understand that there may be some questions about the new registration process and website. That is why we have created this page. Please use this page as a how-to guide to register and learn about the new features our site has to offer.

How to Register as an Individual Walker

  • Click on the purple Register to Walk Button
  • Read and then Click I Agree on the waiver page
  • Click on Join as an Individual
  • Fill out the registration form
    • This is where you will have the option to pick your registration type (TW5K Club, Walker, Walker- Under 17yrs of age)
  • Once completed you will have the opportunity to customize and share your personal web page.

 

How to Join an Existing Team

  • Click on the purple Register to Walk Button
  • Read and then Click I Agree on the waiver page
  • Click on Join a Team
  • Select the Team you would like to join from the drop down box or view teams that are looking for team members by clicking on the Click here button under the drop down button
  • Click on Continue
  • Fill out the registration form
    • This is where you will have the option to pick your registration type(TW5K Club, Walker, Walker- Under 17yrs of age)
  • Once completed you will have the opportunity to customize and share your personal web page.

 

How to Start a Team

  • Click on the purple Register to Walk Button
  • Read and then Click I Agree on the waiver page
  • Click on Start a Team
  • Create a Team name
  • Create a Team fundraising goal (Note: This is a goal for your entire team and can be adjusted later. You will create a personal fundraising goal later in the registration form)
  • Create a recruiting goal (Note: This is the number of people you hope to have join your team.There is NO team member maximum or minimum)  
  • Check the box if you would like to open your team to the public
  • Click on Continue
  • Fill out the registration form
    • This is where you will have the option to pick your registration type(TW5K Club, Walker, Walker- Under 17yrs of age)
  • Once completed you will have the opportunity to customize and share your personal web page.

 

How to Start a team and register multiple walkers in the same transaction

  • Click on the purple Register to Walk Button
  • Read and then Click I Agree on the waiver page
  • Click on Register Multiple people
    • Click on Start a Team
    • Create a Team name
    • Create a Team fundraising goal (Note: This is a goal for your entire team and can be adjusted later. You will create a personal fundraising goal later in the registration form)
    • Create a Recruiting goal (Note: This is the number of people you hope to have join your team, there is NO team member maximum)
    • Check the box if you would like to open your team to the public
  • Click on Continue
  • Fill out the registration form
    • This is where you will have the option to pick your registration type( TW5K Club, Walker, Walker- Under 17yrs of age)
  • Once you have completed your registration form you will have the option to fill out a registration form for your teammates.
    • Each teammate will receive their personal login information via an email after you have completed the form
    • After each completed registration you will be asked if you want to add another team member.
    • Once completed click Continue
  • Complete the payment form
  • Once completed you will have the opportunity to customize and share your personal web page and Team Page.

 

How to Register Multiple people to a team that already exists.

  • Click on the purple Register to Walk Button
  • Read and then Click I Agree on the waiver page
  • Click on Register Multiple people
  • Select the Team you would like to join from the drop down box or view teams that are looking for team members by clicking on the Click here button under the drop down button
  • Click on Continue
  • Fill out the registration form
    • This is where you will have the option to pick your registration type (TW5K Club, Walker, Walker- Under 17yrs of age)
  • After each completed registration you will be asked if you want to add another walker.
  • Once completed click Continue
  • Complete the payment form
  • Each walker that a registration form is filled out for will receive their personal login information via an email after you have completed the final transaction.
  • Once completed each walker will have their own personal HQ where they will have the opportunity to customize and share their personal web page.

 

How do I make a General Donation to TeamWalk?

  • Anyone can make a General Donation by clicking on General Donation, located in the menu list on the left side of the home page.  The General Donation link can be found under the Ways to Support TeamWalk header. You can also choose to click here to go to the general donation page of the site.
  • Once on the General Donation Page, click on the Green Give Now Button
    • A pop-up window will appear, use this to select the amount you would like to donate.
  • Fill out the donor information page.
    • Once complete, click on Submit.
  • Once you have clicked submit you will be be taken to page that will allow you to make your donation in honor/memory of a loved one, if you choose.
  • You have completed the steps to make a General Donation.

 

How do I donate to a walker that I know?

  • Click on the Red Donate to a Walker button, located on the left side of the website.
  • Enter the name of the walker that you would like to donate to.
    • Here you can enter just the first or last name  or even an initial and a list will populate for you to shoose from. 
  • Click on the name of the walker you would like to donate to.
  • Click on the green Give Now button.
  • Select or enter the amount yoyu would like to give.
  • Fill out the information the form requests.
  • Once complete you have now donated to the walker.

 

How do I reset or get my password if I forgot it?

  • In the login area click on Forgot Username and/or Password? 
  • Fill out one of three options
    • Option 1: Enter your user name and press Submit
    • Option 2: Enter the e-mail address you used when you first registered and press Submit 
    • Option 3: Fill out the form and a TeamWalk representative will be in touch to assist you with your login information.  (Use this option only after you have tried option 1 and option 2)
  • If you used Option 1 or Option 2 to recover your password, you will receive an e-mail to reset your password.

 

How do I link my facebook or twitter accounts to my TeamWalk page?

  • Make sure you have logged into your account
  • Once logged in, enter your HQ, by clicking on My HQ, located in the top right corner of the TeamWalk webpage
  • In this secction you will notice links that are located on the bottom-right side of the page. 
    • Depending on which account you would like to post to, click on either Facebook or Twitter.
    • After clicking on one of the links, you will be prompted to post to the specified account.

 

How do I add a photo to my personal fundraising page?

  • Login to the TeamWalk website
  • Click on My HQ (located in the top right side of the website)
  • Once in your HQ, click on the orange My Webpage tab
  • Under the header Webpage image, click on upload
  • To upload your own image click on Browse
  • Select the image you would like to upload
  • Click submit
  • Once a photo is uploaded the webpage automatically defauls to that photo
  • NOTE: All uploaded pictures must be 300 x 234 pixels or smaller and no larger than 50kb in size
  • NOTE: If you need to resize your photo use this useful website : http://www.picresize.com/
          • Click on quick resize(located under the browse button) and add the dimensions above in the pixle box
          • Save the image to your computer and then follow the steps above.

 

How do I place a tribute in the TeamWalk tribute book?

  • Visit the Home Page of the TeamWalk website
  • Under the header, Ways To Support TeamWalk : Click on Sponsorship & Tribute Book Opportunities
  • Click on the option you prefer
  • Fill out the form and we will process your request
  • We will contact you if we have any questions or need additional information.

 

How do I become a Sponsor of TeamWalk?

  • Visit the Home Page of the TeamWalk website
  • Under the header, Ways To Support TeamWalk : Click on Sponsorship & Tribute Book Opportunities
  • Click on the option you prefer

What is my HQ?

  • My HQ is your personal TeamWalk fundraising headquarters. In your HQ you will be able to customize your fundraising page, send out special emails to your supporters, check how your efforts are going and interact with a number of other great features that are available to you in your HQ.
