When and Where to ‘Step Out’ - Saturday, September 7, 2013
9 a.m. kickoff on Gundersen - La Crosse Campus walking trail, rain or shine! Walk all or part of the 4.5 mile course, shuttle available at Pepsi for those  needing assistance. Be on the trail by 10 a.m. to ensure trail services. Complete your walk by noon.

 

At markers, volunteers from Gundersen departments and sponsors will offer motivation, refreshments, first aid, places to rest and our fabulous “Tinkled Pink” Potties.

 

No dogs, rollerblades or runners allowed on the walk.

 

Raise money. Win prizes.
Get in the spirit and celebrate seven years of raising money for local breast cancer research by raising money individually or setting up a team to help make this the best year yet. Pink ribbon trophies will be awarded to the top three community teams, top three Gundersen teams, top three corporate teams and top three individual fundraisers. 

 

Web Pages and Pledges
Set up your individual or team web page and encourage friends, family and co-workers to help you reach your goal. Many employers offer an “employee match program” for donations, ask donors to check on this option. Pledging online through this site is encouraged. 

 

There are two incentive levels to receive prizes. Raise $75 and receive a Steppin’ Out in Pink leatherette wrapped thermos. Raise $150 and receive the thermos and two large Steppin’ Out in Pink Therm-o-totes and a therm-o-snack bag set. Only one thermos and/or snack bag set will be awarded per registrant.  Click here to view incentives.

 

Online Registration Encouraged
Help us save costs by registering online at steppinoutinpink.org. Register in advance and receive a 2013 T-shirt, refreshments, entertainment and chances to win prizes. T-shirts are guaranteed for all advance registrations.

 

Advance registration deadline is Monday, Aug. 26, by 5 p.m. Mail not postmarked on or before this date will be considered day-of-the-event registration. Registration is closed Aug. 27 - Sept. 6 to allow for processing. Refunds will not be given. No confirmation will be sent.

 

Registration fee covers the cost of the T-shirt and event. Please consider helping us raise money for breast cancer research by making a donation and collecting pledges.

 

T-Shirt Pickup

Wednesday, Sept. 4, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., lower level, Gundersen - Onalaska Campus

 

Thursday, Sept. 5, 7 a.m.- 6 p.m., East Building, Gundersen - La Crosse Campus, 724 Denton St., La Crosse

 

Saturday, Sept. 7, 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Registration Tent

 

T-shirts not picked up by 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 7, will be released to “day-of-walk” registrants.
