Tribute Center FAQs

A: A personal tribute page is your way to create a lasting tribute in honor or in memory of a loved one who has been affected by lymphoma while raising funds and awareness to support the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF). By creating your personal tribute page, you can share your story or your loved one's personal story and ask friends and family to make a donation.

A: Yes, of course. While we recommend using the Tribute Center online platform to create a lasting tribute to honor or memorialize your loved one and to easily track your fundraising efforts and donations made to your page, we understand that this is not for everyone. Donations can be made directly on the LRF website by clicking here.

A: All checks should be made payable to the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Click here for the printable donation form to include with your donations. You can also find this printable donation form on your personal tribute page by clicking the "Give Now" button and selecting "Print Donation Form."

A: The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) is the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted to funding innovative lymphoma research and providing people with lymphoma and healthcare professionals with up-to-date education about this type of cancer. The Foundation invests millions of dollars every year to combat lymphoma and assist those whose lives have been affected by a lymphoma diagnosis. LRF is dedicated to identifying a cure through an aggressively funded research program and to helping members of the lymphoma community by providing comprehensive, disease-specific programs and services. Since inception, LRF has funded more than $51 million in lymphoma research and currently serves over 50,000 people each year through our programs and services. Over 81 cents of every dollar spent by the Foundation goes toward research and programming. (For more detailed information on how LRF funds are spent, please see our 2012 Annual Report).

A: Every online donation will receive an automated email acknowledgment from LRF that can be used for tax purposes. It is also a good idea to send your own personal thank you acknowledgement to anyone who donates to your tribute page. When you log in to your Tribute Center account, you will be able to see a list of donors who have contributed.

A: Your lasting tribute page and friendly url are available for as long as you would like to keep them active, allowing friends and family to continuously visit your page and make donations. They can also be removed at your request.
