PLEASE Support my 2010 Climb Against the Odds!

In June 2010, I will again be part of a team of breast cancer survivors and others touched by this disease to climb 14,179-foot Mt. Shasta in Northern California for breast cancer prevention. Together we will Climb Against the Odds 2010, the 11th major mountain expedition hosted by the Breast Cancer Fund.

Last June (2009) I was blessed with the opportunity to join in this quest for the first time and have come back this year with a renewed determination to raise funds and awareness in the ongoing efforts against this deadly disease.

While the team hopes to raise more than $400,000, I am personally challenged to raise at least $20,000 this year. Every dollar will support the Breast Cancer Fund's groundbreaking work to identify and eliminate the environmental causes of the disease, including toxic chemicals found in our everyday environment. Climb Against the Odds directly supports the policy initiatives, corporate accountability campaigns and other innovative programs that aim to stop this disease before it starts.

Please join with me in the campaign again this year. Every little bit helps and accumulates so much faster than you can imagine. In 2009, I raised hundreds of dollars in just a few hours at the Mother's Day Street Fair, in front of Sam's Club, and thousands through raffle ticket sales for a gorgeous donated Pandora Bracelet. We will be doing all of these again with some new activites as well. Call me for details at 717-741-2214!

I have significantly increased my goal this year knowing that together we can meet and surpass our best expectations! (Just a reminder that I will again carry and fly prayer flags for each donation of $100 or more.)
