  • University Economic Development Association Annual Summit: ICIC’s Kathleen O’Shea was honored to present at UEDA’s Annual Summit held October 1st-4th in Long Beach, CA. On a panel moderated by a representative from our partner JPMorgan Chase, Kathleen shared insights from ICIC’s recent research supported by JPMorgan Chase on clusters and increasing diversity and inclusion in entrepreneurial support organizations.   • MIT iEcosystem Symposium: On October 12th, ICIC’s CEO Steve Grossman chaired a plenary panel about new initiatives that are building capacity for inclusive innovation and entrepreneurship at the MIT iEcosystem Symposium. Steve shared insights from ICIC's work and programs that are helping inner city businesses build capacity and enable urban entrepreneurship. Learn more.
  • Malden Commercial Street Corridor Public Meeting: On October 16th, ICIC’s Austin Nijhuis presented at the second of two public meetings discussing the future of the Commercial Street Corridor in Malden, MA. ICIC is partnering with the Malden Redevelopment Authority, MassDevelopment and Harriman to create an economic development strategy that will maximize job retention and creation in the corridor. Learn more.
