Meet Our Village Bank Sponsorship Team

Goal: $5,000 per village bank

In Red Door Community, we help and enrich each other in so many ways--house projects, yoga, study groups, healing sessions. We lend a hand or a tool, or a shoulder to lean on. We donate to support a Buddhist monk in India and respond to relief efforts near and far.

This summer we embarked on raising $5000 to sponsor a micro-finance Village Bank. This bank will provide loans to about 30 families in Haiti--families who deserve the chance to grow a small business that can sustain them.

On Sept. 7 we surpassed our original $5000 goal!
We now hope to reach the $10,000 mark by DEC 31 so we can sponsor a second bank, also in Haiti.
