Thank you to all who have agreed to help with the Agora Task Force. We have had many responses.

As part of an effort to save Agora, we need you to send a message to the Pennsylvania Secretary of Education as soon as possible and respectfully urge him to consider our families and our children who've been affected by the issues surrounding the school.

Please help us protect the education of over 4,400 students. Whether you have children who attend Agora or another cyber school, We simply cannot sit by and let the second largest cyber school in the state close its doors. That will hurt all of our schools! The future of this school is largely in Secretary Zahorchak's hands.

We've made it easy for you to write a letter to him. We hope you and your family members and friends who care about Agora will write today.

Dear Secretary Zahorchak,

Recently your department sent a request to the Agora Board of  Trustees. We understand that if the Board of Trustees does not comply  with your request, that the PDE will take steps to revoke Agora's  charter.

We are writing to implore you to not close our school. Agora Cyber Charter School meets the educational needs of our children and the 4,400 students enrolled in the school. If Agora were to close, the  education my children receive would be lost.

While we understand your department has found the current Board of  Trustees to be in violation of the their charter, we are hoping there  would be another remedy other than revocation. There is not another  cyber in Pennsylvania which provides the full and quality education my children receive. Our concern is not only for my children but all of the children enrolled in Agora.

We are hopeful that you will be able to find a solution to this issue  other than revocation of the charter for Agora. Please help protect the education of the students of Agora.
