Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament Director takes her fight against cancer from the golf course to Congress.
Dellann Elliott lost her husband, Chris, to glioblastoma brain cancer in 2002 when he was just 41. "Had we known about DFCI when Chris was first diagnosed, I truly believe he would have lived longer." Now Elliott is taking the battle against brain cancer to Washington, D.C. Read more.

Off-season events raise money for Dana-Farber
There was no off-season rest for two dedicated Jimmy Fund Golf tournament directors, Mike Strong and Frank Strauss, who each hosted fundraising events this winter to benefit Dana-Farber. Read more.

The Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament for Cancer Research celebrated its 5th anniversary on March 13 at the Lakewood Ranch and Country Club in Bradenton, Fla. More than 200 golfers took to the links and helped raise $75,000 for the fight against cancer. Tournament directors Bill and Susan Moore have successfully carried the mission of Dana-Farber beyond New England, and over the past five years have raised more than $225,000 for the Jimmy Fund.
