On August 28th, 1963, hundreds of thousands of people gathered in Washington for the largest demonstration for jobs and freedom in the history of our nation. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech at the march and Bayard Rustin, an out gay man, was the chief organizer of this historic march.

On Saturday, August 24, 2013, we’ll commemorate the 50th anniversary of this March when we gather on the National Mall to reaffirm the dream of the 1963 March. Will you be there?
